Pain is an Opportunity
Typically when you think about pain, there is a negative association with it. No one wants pain, obviously, but when you’re a personal trainer, movement practitioner, fitness coach, pain becomes your BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY to WOW a client.
Typically people either get into fitness because they enjoy working out or because they genuinely want to help people live better and healthier lives. If you got into fitness to help people not just because you like to workout and it’s a cool way for you to make a little extra cash on the side, well then this could be a game changing article for you.
What is the number 1 reason clients stop working out. I’ll give you a hint: IT’S PAIN. Knee pain, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, low back pain, the list goes on.
So if this is the biggest problem in your being able to continue to help your clients, then you should prioritize figuring out how to:
1. Analyze their pain
2. Treat their pain
3. Prevent their pain from coming back
